Blending OFA efforts with the Coordinated Campaign (CC) has been Jeremy Walker's task over the last month. From just a few staff members working out of one office (at Dem HQ in Seattle) the CC effort has grown to more than 30 staff working out of ten offices throughout our State. Jeremy is now delighted to be heading the CC on the Peninsula, with Casey Dreher running the 26th and 35th LD's.The OFA team in Mason County (Rebecca Westby, Andrea Abruzzo, Guyla Vann, Jill Neumeister, Adrienne Amar, Linda Amar, Laurel Nelson-King, Larry King, Della Rogers, Pat Kevin and others)—with help from Andrew Graham and Sheri Staley when they have a chance—has been absorbed and redefined and reorganized as well. Our separate teams have been blended and I am now working with Casey while Jeremy, who also represents Patty Murray's campaign in our area, choreographs a large geographical domain.
Locally, we have been busy calling folks from home as well as from the Dem HQ to clean up lists to make sure when we do get out the vote we are reminding Democrats. We have also been registering voters and distributing information at various events throughout the county and will be running a canvass on the 31st out of the Mason County Democratic HQ in Shelton.
