The next meeting of the Democratic Women’s Club is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at El Sarape in Gateway Center.  Lunch starts around 11:30 a.m. followed by a short business meeting and the program at noon. Bob Appel, CEO of Mason General Hospital, will join us to talk about what’s going on at the Hospital, including their plans for new construction and expansion.  Mason General is making real efforts to reach out to the community so I believe you’ll want to hear what Bob has to say.

Last month we co-hosted the Holiday Party with the Central Committee on December 9th at the Memorial Hall in Shelton.  It was a great time with good food, good company and really great music.  Hope you were able to be there to enjoy the fun.

May your New Year be bright and bring you happiness and joy.  And may we see you at our January 20th meeting full of energy and wonderful plans for 2010!
