MCDCC Speaker Steeped in Mason County History

Our speaker for the January MCDCC regular meeting is Billie Howard.She has recently retired from the leadership of the Mason Co. Historical Society where she has been director for the last twenty years. She became interested in local history in 1989 and it has been a continually growing passion in her life. Many things are happening in 2012 in the museum and she will be talking to us about those changes.
There are also many services available to the people of the county at the museum and Billie will describe what is available. She's an interesting person who has been active in the county in many ways. She was part of the team that founded the Saints Shelton Food Bank. She has served as chairman of their board and is currently still active in the organization.
Come to the meeting on January 11 at the PUD #3 meeting room. Billie will speak at 6 PM and there will be time for questions.
