Tuesday, July 8th 7 P.M. - North Mason Demo Chat meeting (No Host) at Fiesta Mexican Restuarant (in the Belfair Log Plaza) 23730 State Route 3 -Belfair.
Wednesday, July 9th 7 P. M. - MCDCC Meeting at P.U.D. #3 Community Room 307 W. Cota Street in Shelton.
Saturday, July 12th, 10 A.M. - Harvey Rendsland (Jiggs Lake) Cleaup. Volunteers are needed! If you are interested meet at the park at 10 a.m which is located at 10991 NE Belfair Tahuya Road. Bring gloves, rakes and other appropriate tools. We will provide food and drinks after the clean up. Contact the Democratic Headquarters at 427-2731 or Jane Roush at 426-7389.
Wednesday, July 16th 11:30 A. M. - Mason County Democratic Women's Club will meet (No Host) at El Sarape' Restaurant in Gateway Center (across from McDonald's).

Sunday, July 20th 2 P.M. - 5 P.M. - Fred Finn is having a campaign party at Judge (Ret.) James & Joyce Maddock’s home in McCormick Woods, 6960 Wentworth Ave SW in Port Orchard. Please RSVP to Fran Moyer, fran-bob@msn.com. Old fashioned Chicago-style Sunday picnic. A block party with plenty of food, politicians, and fun.

MCDCC Volunteer Opportunities - We are expanding our office coverage and will now be open Monday through Friday. We need volunteers to help mind the office in either two three-hour periods or the full six hours. We need phone calls to be made in precincts without Precinct Committee Officers. 5/18/08: Senator Barack Obama held a rally in Portland, Oregon that attracted an estimated 75,000 people. Bryan and Angela Phillips drove down for the event and are sharing their photos here.
